Application readiness and security vulnerability
AdminStudio 2025 R2 is now live
The latest release of AdminStudio is now available for download from the Product and License Center. This update brings a robust set of enhancements to streamline application packaging and deployment across enterprise environments.
Key enhancements:
- PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit (PSADT) v4.0 support
AdminStudio now supports PSADT v4.0 while retaining full compatibility with v3.0. This ensures smooth transitions for teams upgrading and continuing to use legacy scripts. Enhanced editing capabilities allow for deeper customization of deployment logic and user interactions. - Intune scope tags integration
Scope tags are now supported, enabling IT admins to define access boundaries for deployment packages. This improves governance, supports role-based access control and aligns with Microsoft Intune best practices. - Expanded Package Feed Module
The Package Feed Module now supports 11,000+ packages, up from 8,800. This expansion offers broader coverage of commercial and open-source apps, reducing manual scripting and accelerating automation workflows. - Multi-package migration
Customers can now select and migrate multiple packages simultaneously, simplifying the process for application suites and related components. - Improved Intune assignment group UI
A new searchable, paginated interface replaces the static dropdown, enhancing performance and usability during group selection for deployments. - PowerShell Cmdlets and REST API updates
New Cmdlets and APIs for scope tags allow automated tagging of packages, improving deployment control and access management. - MSAL migration
AdminStudio has transitioned from ADAL to MSAL, boosting security and compliance with Microsoft’s latest authentication standards. - Codejock upgrade
Version 24.1.0 of Codejock brings improved performance and compatibility across core components like licensing, repackaging tools and deployment wizards. - InstallShield 2025 R1 integration
The latest InstallShield 2025 R1 is now bundled with AdminStudio 2025 R2 for seamless packaging capabilities. - MSIX Editor fixes
Updates resolve issues with fixup failures, trace behavior and PowerShell file extension handling—enhancing reliability and user experience.

Software Vulnerability Manager (SVM) on-premises and cloud updates and key fixes
- SVM On-premises v7.6.1.33-2 R2 is now available for download
The August 2025 release of SVM (on-premises edition) brings critical fixes that directly address two issues reported by our customers: - Silent parameters restored for VPM quick patch in SVM on-prem
In earlier versions of SVM, on-premises customers encountered missing silent parameters when deploying quick patches via the Vendor Patch Module (VPM). This disrupted automation workflows and required manual intervention. The latest release restores these parameters, enabling seamless and silent patch deployment, keeping your workflows efficient and non-intrusive. - Subscribed packages now trigger properly for WSUS in Patch Publisher
A previous issue where subscribed packages in Patch Publisher failed to trigger correctly for WSUS connections has been resolved. This fix ensures reliable propagation of patches across WSUS endpoints, restoring full functionality to automated patching workflows. - SVM cloud version 250703 is also now live
This new version of the cloud edition is compatible with the latest version of the Patch Publisher v 7.27.1964. - Resolution of task API issue for WSUS approval tasks
The Task API previously failed to retrieve approval tasks for VPM/SPS subscriptions in WSUS environments. This issue has now been addressed, ensuring that approval tasks are correctly pulled and logged, enabling smooth package deployment without manual steps.
