We’re excited to announce the latest release of Flexera One IT Visibility, powered by our new Technology Intelligence Platform. This enhancement allows you to deliver critical technology insights to stakeholders across the organization with even greater efficiency.

With this update, you can now:

  • Get a reliable, unified view of your IT landscape using a consistent data model.
  • Leverage an advanced analytics engine for flexible reporting, API extensibility, faster processing, and more accurate normalization.
  • Accelerate data delivery to your CMDB (including ServiceNow) and broader technology ecosystem.

Empower your team to make more informed business decisions, backed by accurate, actionable insights.

Innovation area: FinOps

New: Commitment dimensions in tabular view now generally available

Functionality providing details on commitment (reserved instances, savings plans, etc.) dimensions has been made available to all customers in a general availability release. These details, including billing entity, commitment ID, and commitment name were previously only available for select customers in a beta release.

New: Additional labels for Kubernetes cost analysis

The Kubecost Flexera Exporter solution now supports additional labels for Kubernetes cost analysis, specifically capturing cluster and namespace names. These labels allow you to define tag dimensions based on familiar Kubernetes terms, making your cost analysis even more intuitive and actionable.

New: Tag Dimensions now available in recommendations tables

Flexera has long supported Tag Dimensions, enabling you to create custom dimensions for more granular cloud spend tracking. These Tag Dimensions can now be used to filter and group recommendations in the Rate and Usage Reduction tables, providing further, in-depth insights into cloud spend and allocation.

Innovation area: Security in Software Vulnerability Management (SVM)

Migration to “notarytool” command-line utility for SVM Mac agent

The Software Vulnerability Manager (SVM) Mac agent now uses the “notarytool” command-line utility for its notarization processes. This update replaces earlier notarization methods to comply with Apple’s latest security requirements.

Enhancing security: Control Flow Guard (CFG) and Stack Protection

We’ve taken steps to improve the security of the SVM agent by enabling Control Flow Guard (CFG) and Stack Protection. These features reduce the attack surface, preventing memory corruption and ransomware attacks, and helping to secure your applications against vulnerabilities like buffer overflows.

UI enhancements for the SAID Popup in Patch Publisher

  • Text overflow in CVE references
  • Improved solution section formatting
  • Better changelog handling
  • Enhanced scrollbar behavior
  • Removal of unwanted tags and labels
