Innovation area: AI Cost Management
Full stack AI cost management
Rapid adoption of generative AI SaaS (e.g. Claude, CoPilot), AI cloud infrastructure (e.g. GPUs), and AI cloud services (e.g. Amazon Bedrock) have skyrocketed concerns about managing their unpredictable, token-based costs. To meet our customers’ needs, Flexera is building the only AI cost management platform spanning agents, models, data platforms, and compute.
Key Highlights
- Complete visibility of all AI spend. Other vendors only see a slice (e.g. SaaS or cloud). Flexera covers the full AI stack.
- Measure and optimize token consumption to affordably run AI at scale
- Generates savings to reinvest in AI initiatives
Why It Matters
Enterprises need a new AI operating model where they can understand the economics of token usage across the stack. Flexera was built for the entire technology estate, and that’s exactly what AI now spans.

Innovation area: FinOps
Unified Autonomous Optimization
In FinOps, there are broadly two ways to optimize: Rate Optimization and Workload Optimization. Typically, these capabilities are handled by separate tools that do not speak to each other.
Our exciting new feature brings rate and workload optimization together to deliver maximal savings. Rather than competing, as can happen when rate and workload automations are running in parallel, Unified Autonomous Optimization brings the two together under a ‘single brain’ that optimizes both workload usage and commitment discount usage (i.e. rate optimization) in tandem.
Key Highlights
- The first solution to bring rate and workload optimization together
- Fully autonomous
- Unlocks spot usage at scale
- Optimizes container and VM-based workloads
- Maximizes commitment discount usage
- Does not disrupt workload performance

Bring rate and workload optimization together to maximize savings
Why It Matters
Provides a 1+1=3 savings effect proven to generate incremental savings that can be reinvested in innovation.
Unified Autonomous Optimization is generally available today. New customers can sign up here.
New FinOps pricing model – only pay for outcomes
Customers prefer to pay for results, but other important FinOps tools, such as those for cost visibility, aren’t outcome-based and generally charge a percentage of cloud spend. As autonomous solutions become a larger portion of the FinOps tool stack, customers should expect to see their pricing models skew towards outcome-based pricing models.
The time has come. We are introducing ProsperOps+, the Flexera cloud FinOps suite, where you pay only for outcomes.
Key Highlights
- Rate optimization (ProsperOps): Maximized savings through Autonomous Discount Management across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Kubernetes, virtual machine, and spot optimization (Ocean/Elastigroup): Savings and reduced waste via pod rightsizing, bin packing, node/VM autoscaling, and spot management.
- License optimization (Flexera Cloud License Management): Entitlement redundancy elimination and compliance risk mitigation by managing cloud licenses automatically.
- Cloud cost visibility and governance (Flexera Cloud Cost Optimization): Cost observability, accountability, and governance with granular reporting and policy enforcement.
All priced as a function of quantified savings outcomes. We collect a small portion of either the savings generated through autonomous rate optimization, or of the costs you avoided paying by using our autonomous usage optimization tools.
Why It Matters
Customers with ProsperOps+ actually add money back to their budgets that can be reinvested in new initiatives.

FinOps Assist
AI in the enterprise has shifted from productivity tool to co-worker. Today’s AI isn’t just answering questions; AI is reasoning, retrying, and orchestrating. As we enter this new phase of AI, the cost economics are what’s holding back AI adoption.
To help business leaders understand their AI costs, Flexera is rolling out FinOps Assist in Flexera One Cloud Cost Optimization. FinOps Assist is an ‘AI for FinOps’ feature that answers questions and generates reports from natural language prompts, enabling users to gather actionable insights relevant to their role. FinOps Assist will evolve into a multi-agent orchestrator that routes tasks across specialized agents.
Key Highlights
- Use natural language to instead of SQL queries to get insights from your data
- Enables all users to gather actionable insights relevant to their role
- Multi-agent orchestrator routes tasks across specialized agents
Why It Matters
Empower stakeholders and executives to self-serve actionable insights, drill down into their areas of interest, and generate relevant reports. This keeps FinOps practitioners focused on where they add value and supports FinOps maturity across the enterprise.

Innovation area: SaaS Management
Manage Shadow SaaS
Flexera One SaaS Management now makes it easy to bring order to previously unmanaged applications, so you can move faster with confidence and maintain a clean, trusted SaaS inventory.
With these new capabilities, you can:
- Quickly organize discovered apps by matching them to existing catalog entries or creating new ones in your private catalog
- Ensure accuracy with built-in validation workflows that let you review and approve mappings before they go live
- Reduce risk and rework by easily correcting mistakes, including reverting mappings and automatically cleaning up related data
The result is a more complete, accurate view of your SaaS environment, helping you improve governance, reduce shadow IT and make better decisions faster.
Optimize ServiceNow Applications in Multiple Subscriptions
Flexera One SaaS Management helps you eliminate confusion and optimize ServiceNow licensing by clearly identifying where subscriptions overlap and users may be double covered.
With these capabilities, you can:
- Quickly spot redundant or unclear user coverage across overlapping ServiceNow subscriptions, reducing waste and confusion
- Optimize license allocation with intelligent recommendations based on lowest cost or lowest compliance risk
- Stay in control with flexible adjustments so you can fine-tune recommendations before taking action
- Strengthen audit readiness and decision-making with clear insights into subscription coverage and usage
The result is more efficient license use, lower costs and greater confidence in your ServiceNow compliance and renewal strategy.
Innovation area: IT Asset Management
Contract expiry notifications and AI-generated contract numbers
Key highlights
- Automatically generate contract numbers during AI ingestion to ensure every contract record is complete and ingestion-ready.
- Proactively notify stakeholders of upcoming contract expirations with configurable timeframes and vendor-specific alerts.
- Reduce data gaps and missed renewals by combining intelligent data population with ongoing contract lifecycle visibility.
Why it matters
Eliminates incomplete contract records and missed renewal risks by ensuring every contract is properly captured and continuously monitored improving compliance, audit readiness, and cost control.
Innovation area: IT Visibility
Data Explorer scheduled customer report subscriptions
Data Explorer scheduled custom report subscriptions enable users to automate recurring delivery of any saved report. Reports are delivered on a defined cadence via email, with full dataset access through a secure download link or CSV file, even for users without Flexera access.
Key Highlights
- Automated recurring delivery to schedule any Data Explorer report daily, weekly, or monthly, eliminating the need to manually rerun and distribute reports
- Full dataset access, not snapshots, so recipients receive a secure link to download the complete report dataset as a CSV, instead of a limited PDF view.
- Flexible sharing across audiences to support private and shared subscriptions and allow reports to be sent to individuals or groups with aligned permissions (including stakeholders without platform access).
Why It Matters
- Eliminate manual reporting overhead by removing the need for analysts to repeatedly rerun, export, and email reports, saving time and reducing operational friction.
- Expand access to actionable data by delivering working data directly to stakeholders, ensuring broader visibility and alignment.
- Improve decision speed and data usability with complete datasets instead of static snapshots, enabling downstream analysis, integration, and operational workflows.
- Drive consistent, reliable reporting workflows with standardized, scalable insight delivery to the right audience at the right time, without one-off processes.
