Announcing new Salesforce AppExchange Application updates
If you’ve worked with Salesforce applications in the past, you may be aware that managing active and inactive users can be quite a task. Even getting a report of all installed applications and a list of the users accessing them can be cumbersome, especially if you’re managing multiple organizations.
This becomes even more challenging when it comes to managing users that are active within AppExchange applications. Just because you remove an inactive user from Salesforce doesn’t always mean that the user has been removed from the AppExchange applications that they were using. Unfortunately, this has major cost and security implications because you may still be paying for the user in the AppExchange application. Not to mention they may still have access to sensitive company information.
That’s why we’re excited to announce that we’ve released our new functionality for Salesforce AppExchange managed applications in Flexera One SaaS Management.
IT Asset Management
It all starts with knowing what’s in your IT ecosystem. Flexera One discovers even the most elusive assets whether on-prem, SaaS, cloud, containers and more.
With full visibility and managing rights through SaaS Management, this latest release makes managing your AppExchange licenses and users a breeze. Simply choose the AppExchange application you’d like to review and filter your users by employee status to see all inactive users. From there, it’s easy to determine which users should no longer have access to a certain application—which saves you precious dollars and protects your company’s critical information.
And this is just the beginning. Stay tuned for more releases to come for the Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other Salesforce integrations that will make managing your Salesforce instance easier than ever before.
