Flexera Achieves ISO 27001 Certification of its Information Security Management System (ISMS)
Itasca, IL - February 6, 2023 Flexera, the company that helps organizations maximize business value from their technology investments, today announced its ISO 27001 (ISO/IEC 27001) certification for the Information Security Management System (ISMS) in support of its Flexera One SaaS platform.
ISO 27001 is a global security standard that determines the requirements for an ISMS. To achieve the certification, Flexera demonstrated its systematic and ongoing approach to managing sensitive company and customer information through its SaaS-based Flexera One platform. As a result, Flexera One is now recognized as fully compliant with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 27001 global security standard. Flexera also established a formal program to maintain the certification. Schellman Compliance, an ANAB- and UKAS-accredited certification body, performed the certification.

The scope of Flexera’s ISMS includes the assets, technologies, and processes employed by Flexera for processing, management, and delivery of services to its customers. Services covered by the ISMS include the Flexera One suite of services, including IT Visibility, IT Asset Management, Cloud Migration and Modernization, and Cloud Cost Optimization services and all associated applications and technologies that are hosted, developed, and maintained by Flexera to enable data input, processing, storage, and output. The scope has also been drafted considering the control implementation requirements of ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Annex A in accordance with the Statement of Applicability.
