Secunia, 2015
The products that would become Software Vulnerability Manager and Software Vulnerability Research are added to Flexera's solution portfolio.
BDNA, 2017
Flexera acquires BDNA and, with it, Technopedia, the world's largest enriched technology catalog of IT asset data. This forms the backbone of the Technology Intelligence Platform.

Flexera moves its headquarters to our current offices in Itasca, IL.

App Portal (now App Broker) is added to Flexera's line of solutions, giving the ability to provide enterprises with a self-service app store.

Flexera opens its first Asia-Pacific office after purchasing ManageSoft.

Software giant Macrovision acquires InstallShield.

The company opens its first European office.

AdminStudio is developed, strengthening InstallShield's place in the application management space.
1987
InstallShield is born. This is the company's-eventually Flexera's-first major entry into the software market.

FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications is launched. The FlexNet Manager solutions will become the industry standard for software management.
