Macrovision Joins Citrix Alliance Partner Program

Participation in the Citrix Ready Initiative will Streamline the Distribution of Packaged and Licensed Software Applications within Citrix Environments

SANTA CLARA, CA - Jan 29, 2007 - Macrovision Corporation (NASDAQ: MVSN) today announced that it has joined the Citrix® Alliance Partner program as a Solution Partner. The program includes best-of-breed vendors that can deliver solutions which are complementary to the Citrix Application Delivery Infrastructure. Macrovision, through its participation in the program, will collaborate with Citrix to offer enterprise customers integrated IT solutions for the access and delivery of software programs over the network through the Citrix portal.

In addition to the partner program, Macrovision is announcing its participation in the Citrix® Ready™ initiative launched by Citrix Systems this week at the Citrix Summit 07 in Orlando, Fla. The initiative provides a verification process through which vendors, such as Macrovision, can demonstrate compatibility with Citrix solutions. By completing the verification process, Macrovision's solutions will be able to help enterprises package, license and distribute applications seamlessly through Citrix-driven corporate networks. Macrovision is among the first vendors to join the Citrix Ready initiative.
